[ARC5] More on the SCR-274N VHF to ARC-5 VHF Makeover

Interesting item # 6610859410.

On this T-23 set, you can see not only where the 815 and it's two 
plate leads were removed, but the chassis was inscribed with 
it's ID at the location, just as it is on my BC-950.  The outer case
of this one is rough and the angle is tough, but in the photo of the 
outer case you can see where the SIGNAL CORPS ID tag was removed
(the discolored spot) and the AN/ARC-5 tag screwed in place above.

I've seen three or four BC-950s, but still not a single receiver, the 
BC-942.  If you look in the ARC-5 VHF manual, these are called
the "early models" with the earlier tuning works.  Has anyone out there
seen a BC-942 receiver?
