Meir,
The ARB uses the much more common (at least in terms of the large number of
different sets that used it) larger size flexible tuning cable. AN/ARC-5 and
it's predecessors used a smaller one. I never came across anything else using
the small one.
I have a few of the large ones left. Actually late 50's production with
FSN's, but out of the bag, you can't tell the difference.
