[ARC5] those little bitty ball bearings

Hi all.

I have a receiver that took a hard fall at some point in its life and the
shock knocked the shaft of the main tuning capacitor off center at the far
end where the big flat brass set screw sets the tension and retains the tiny
ball bearings.  Of course half the ball bearings are missing.  I have two
questions.

1)  Where do I find ball bearings?  I presume a parts receiver (or
transmitter?) is the likely source.

2)  Is the best way to fix the variable to work from that end?  In other
words, break the seal on the flat brass set screw and unscrew it enough to
release the shaft and reload the bearings.  Then apply some light oil and
retension the set screw.
