That tower is the one i bought to put up in the backyard here. However
i discovered afterwards that i would need to tear down the house as it
would occupy the whole lot. So i swapped it for the Brooklyn Bridge.
I've yet to move that one. ANy other good buys out there?

On a more serious note, there are now, that i know of, 3 books out
called "Forgotten Fields". The latest one addresses Kingman where they
stored and then junked out thousands of airplanes after W.W.II and also
WIlliams AFB just down the road from me about 5 miles. Not all the
facts about Williams nor Kingman are portrayed correctly.

Hopefully they will address Goodyear NAF, southwest of Phoenix because
of the disposal facilities there that were still huffing and puffing
away in 1956-1957 when i first came through the area.

This is interesting stuff Jay.
