Not much. I was a Gunsight/Radar NCO. But our squadron also did the radio
mainenance.

Most of the aircraft I woked on had ARC-3, ARC-27, or ARC-3 radios. Our
KB-29s and C-119s had ART-13/BC-348 radios for HF. Some aircraft still had
BC-453s. We had some aircraft with the VHF version of the ARC-5 radios.

We had T-33 and T-6 trainers. They had some version of VHF radios. The C-45
Beechcrafts may have still had the ARC-5 stuff.

By the mid 50's all the fighters had VHF or UHF equipment.
