I would think that seeing the URL showing a NIB unit going for $30 a few
days earlier would have been pretty convincing that maybe $600 for a junker
was just a tad too much, even for a total novice.
Of course, you have to be careful. I've seen Joe Walsh of the music group
Eagles pay some very unrealistically high prices on ebay for chopped-up
ham-assaulted command set gear.
