[ARC5] What did they talk to/P-51 Mustang

The P-40s that the AVG had in China used "Piper Cub" radios. They were
deliverd without any radios.
I don't have a clue what a 1941 "Piper Cub" radio was. In the 1950s the Cubs
I flew in did not have radios or lights.
