Mike:  Good example. Also, I know from experience that our ARC-27 transceivers
in the F86 worked pretty well to 225 miles when at good altitude. This was at
225 Mc or so. They were quite a bit better than the ARC-4 but about equal to
the SCR-522. PS,  I have one of each of the above, minus the F86.
