[ARC5] Command Transmitter Plate Voltage

I plan to use it on 40 CW, in a reasonably unmodified setup.  None of my 
BC-696's are original, but I'll avoid future mod's.  Dave Stinson (I think) 
had a number of posts on setting one up with a minimum of mod's, no TVI, 
and little or no chirp.  I copied them into a single document for future 
reference.  What is a good input power?   Last time I used a command 
transmitter was in the 50's, and I think I ran about 30 watts.  I didn't 
know much about transmitters in those days and 30 watts "just 
happened".  At that time, almost all low power guys ran command transmitters.
