Order number 1509-NY-41, contract # W-227-SC-2586 
was the first production run from Western Electric
after they took over production from 
Aircraft Radio Corp.'s 1470-NY-41 order, contract #W-227-SC-2576.
The tuning handles are probably the ones with a large
diameter knob and spinner instead of the 
usual "crank?"   They discontinued these and went
to the "crank" during that first run, as you 
can find both kinds under that order.
