Very interesting that when I went back into the
site to try your suggestion, the background was
still O.D. but a very much lighter shade!!!  Much
easier on the eyes!!!  Thanks!!!

One trick is to select all the text by left-clicking
at the text start and dragging the mouse (with the left
button held down) to the end.  This hi-lites the text
and usually makes it readable.  Works also when light
color text is on a light background.
