SCR-522 questions, comments and info are welcome here. It was, after all,
the most important command set in the ETO.

I'd say it's highly likely that both units were made by Colonial. What's
odd is that your CS-80 case is made by Bendix. Does it have the same order
number on it?

I have an almost complete (except for radio and dynamotor mounting plates)
SCR-522 made by Zenith Radio (CZR) on order number 11811-WF-43. The only
part NOT made by Zenith Radio is the BC-631-B jack box with the same order
number, but a manufacturer code of CAAJ (which I can't identify). So
apparently the same order number can appear on units made by different
manufacturers.

FWIW, The BC-602-B control box I've got for my system bears the same order
number as your set, and the manufacturer code of CQR, which I believe is
Colonial.
