Thanks for writing, Roger.
Stabilizing the Osc. B+ is indeed a good idea;
I wrote as I did only because that is how the original
engineers designed it.  If anyone would like to peg
the Osc B+ rail at the "speced" 200VDC, there are
100 volt zeners available these days
that will handle the load; a couple of them will do.
Of course, two VT-105s would be prettier ;-).
A suggestion, if you please-
It's actually better if you deactivate the antenna relay.
Just unsolder one lead and roll the coiled contact around
so it stays connected all the time.  It will certainly key
with that relay switching, but it's faster and less noisy
if you don't use it.
