Exactly my thought, too.  The MO and PA tank coils for a T-16 have got to be about as hard to find as a T-16 itself.  I wonder why he bothered to leave the BCB calibration crystal in place?  Someone paying big bucks for this T-16, thinking it is nearly original, will be disappointed.  Sam probably should mention those mods in his discription.

Yep, that's odd, yet obviously original.   I've never seen one like that.

I've been wondering if there's anything that can be inferred from the color (either black or red) on the NOTICE tag that's on the ARC-5 receiver tube cover.  Does a red tag imply an earlier vintage or contract, or a CCT vs. CBY unit, or some such similar thing?
