[ARC5] Question about BC-696 TX

A newly acquired BC-696 TX is mysteriously missing the ferrite core and
3-leg bracket through which it screws on the RF Coil for the 1625's.  As I
looked closer I discovered that the two parasitic suppressors, normally
wired point to point inside the RF Coil are missing also. Questions:
1.  Can someone tell me how to wind my own replacement parasitic
suppressors?
2.  Since I don't have a spare ferrite core, what do I need to do (or
adjust) to compensate for this missing component?  Is there a work-around to
this predicament?
