Thanks for the information on pipsqueak.

I uncovered a little more information, in a 
history of the Battle of Britain, can't
find the title now, it was on the shelf
at Barnes and Noble.

This history said that Pipsqueak was used
by one plane in a 3 plane element, so the
element could be tracked.  But nothing more
was said about it.

Still trying to find details of usage by the
USAAF.
