Here is a progress report.  I wound a better 4:1 UnUn tonight and collected 
this data:

Current reading from BC-442, power into 50-ohm dummy load.  I'll try to load 
a dipole in a couple of days and give a report of the results.  BTW, I 
forgot to mention earlier that both transmitters have NOS pairs of 1625 
installed.
