Hi All,

I have been trying to get my SCR-274N setup on the air recently and am
having problems with TVI. I have a BC-442-A with the vacuum cap connected
in series with a 33-foot length of wire (~1/4 wave at 40m). I have tried to
load up my BC-459 but keep getting TVI. Do any of you guys have this
problem? I think I remember David Stinson saying that most of the TVI
during the '50s and '60s was due to the sets being operated out of their
rack and without good bonding and grounding. Mine are in the racks and I'm
grounding to a cold water pipe where it comes into the house. What about
harmonics? It doesn't seem that the output circuit of the transmitters
would have good harmonic rejection. Thanks.

Sean
