Thanks Jim,
I have both a BC-442 and an ATA/ARA antenna relay. I never have tried
them.
Does anybody know whether using a 60Hz AC current through the relay and a
precision resistor and using an accurate AC voltmeter to measure the
voltage drop would be a proper way to test the thermocouples?

Information and Reports
Maybe I'm a little off topic, but the latest catalog supplement of Fair
Radio had unused RF thermocouples used in the BC442 antenna relay
box. Price is $5.00 each, or 3 for $10.00. Part number is ARC-7499. I
just ordered some a few minutes ago, so have not seen them. Salesman said
they have a good stock, but there are plenty of orders. I couldn't find
them on their web site www.fairradio.com, so phoned in the order.
