[ARC5] BC1206A question

Gentlemen -
This is not quite an ARC-5 question, but somebody might have a clue for
me. I have a BC-1206A. It is a very compact low frequency navigation
receiver 200-400 kc. The schematic in the CQ Surplus Schematic Handbook
is for a BC-1206C. I have one of those too, but this is a slightly
different receiver. It is more compact, not quite as long. It has a
different tube lineup and that is where the rub is. I was expecting the
tubes to be wired for 28 Volts like the BC-1206A, but they are all wired
in parallel. Someone has put 6 volt tubes in this receiver and then if
they connected it to 28 volts, or even 12 volts, they are all shot ...
and what do you know, they are.

My question is, was this really a 12 Volt receiver? Does anyone have a
schematic or at least a tube list?

Thanks & 73 -- Dean Billing WA6IKJ
