Hi Dave,
You are right, it's a shame, but the guy seems to have been a decent
workman, not that it helps unless you just want to operate them as is.
I was unaware of the difference between the red and blue labels on the ATA
command transmitters. Is the same true for receivers, that there is
information on the tags that can give a clue to production series? Were
some manufacturers only involved with earlier or later units? Also, I have
not seen any references to circuit differences within the ATA/ARA
production runs. Do the second generation sets have any circuit changes
compared to the earlier ones?
I know this is a lot of questions.
