Yes, these 4200 kc IF cans are for the RAT, RAT-1 and RAV series
receivers covering 9-13.5, 13.5-20 and 20-27 mc, produced in 1940. I
have several of these receivers. (The 9-13.5 mc receiver of the RAV
series is the rarest of all the ARC units. To my knowledge only 50 were
built. Aside from receivers out of the "attic" at Boonton, I have only
seen one, a damaged set I found in surplus in the 1960s.)

Some of the RAT and RAV units had the same part numbers as the ARA
equipment and was essentially identical.

However I have seen a small number of these IF cans in surplus as
well as out of the "attic." Aircraft Radio Industries, in Connecticut,
which bought a lot of the ARC stock at the time when, to settle the
wartime contracts, the company needed to establish a value for the
excess, had modest quantities of very interesting ARC material.
Unfortunately they no longer exist. Wonder where the last dregs went?
