[ARC5] Re Brits VHF

During the early part of the war the Brits used the TR-9D in many of their
pursuit or fighter aircraft. During the battle of Britain the TR-9D was
replaced with the VHF sets, covering 100mcs to 120mcs. They
shipped  over to the US,  British ground and aircraft sets. Bendix
was tasked to make a US copy. Hence the SCR-522

The US was starting to develop a VHF set, the SCR-264 but
dropped the idea. If anyone has any info on the SCR-264, please
tell us.
