[ARC5] ARC Type 12 question

Folks -

Does anyone have a schematic or a manual for an R-22 (ARC Type 12
broadcast band receiver)? Yep it's one of the gray ones, hope this post
is not too far off topic here...

Just picked it up recently, found pinouts in the Tauson book, cleaned
up the dynamotor & packed the bearings. The receiver covers 540-1600
KCs, but no local freq dial of course. Very sensitive, but draws like
20% more power than an R-24/ARC-5 or a BC-946. Dynamotor runs very hot.

The R-22 has only one 12 pin connector on the front panel, while the
R-10 (the other ARC Type 12 BCB RX) has three smaller ones... Anyone
know why that is?

What control box was used with this R-22? Does anyone have one for
sale or trade?

WWII Command Set BCB RXs cover .52-1.5 MCs, while this R-22 covers
.54-1.6 MCs - why is that? Does the R-10 cover .52-1.5 or .54-1.6?
This R-22 seems to have the same 31 turn tuning setup as the older
Command Sets, and works OK with an ARC-5 control head mechanism - it's
just that the dial calibration is way off.

thanks
