The Rebecca - Eureka system was a WW II airborne radar beacon system, composed
of an airborne transmitter, receiver, and display that interrogated the Eureka
battery powered beacon carried by paratroops and others.

Since it was highly classified and had few post-war uses, it has largely been
ignored.  The hardware and documentation is very scarce. Here are some  web
