[ARC5] Plastic covered wiring in WWII ARC receivers

How common is plastic covered wiring in the WWII vintage receivers? (I know plastic covered wiring was standard in the post-war receivers from ARC.) I've done restorations of 3 receivers in a row with plastic covered wiring- an R-27, and R-26 and another R-27. They were a joy to work on, as it is very easy to color match the wiring. All of the BC-XXX series I've ever seen had cloth covered wiring - a pain to work on if you're trying to 'un-do' a hatchet job. Any thoughts?
