Both the B-17 and B-24 have radio compass "football" antennas mounted
externally. I believe that the B-17 is equipped with SCR-269 components, but
I'm not certain.

The cockpits and instrument panels have been kept close to their original
appearance without too many egregious compromises. (No big moving-map LCD
displays or anything tacky like that, at least when I saw them in 2001.) The
modern avionics installation in the B-24 is fairly clever- there's an
removable panel that allows access in flight but covers the modern gear
during static display.

I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing these airplanes- I always have.
