Indeed! I haven't been involved with this anywhere near as long as you and
Gordon have, Dave. I do feel that you, Gordon, Hue, the Mikes(several), as
well as others probably have a good deal of what is needed to make this a
reality. Between the actual equipment, manuals, notes, first hand accounts,
previous research and just overall knowledge, you probably have 98% or more of
the information and resources needed. I also feel pretty confident that if
anyone working on such a venture needed assistance in the form of additional
information, they'd be clever enough ask for it here on the lists and
elsewhere, so it's not likely that having a babysitter or someone peering over
your collective shoulders would add to anything but the annoyance factor.
Many of us would like to help, but few of us are truly qualified to do so
properly. I think the only thing that is important is knowing that someone
will do it, or is doing it over time.
However it sifts out with whomever, good luck.
