I have never seen a C-30A/ARC-5 "in the flesh" (just in a late version
of the VHF AN/ARC-5 TM).

I have seen a C-38A/ARC-5 receiver control that appeared identical to
the C-38/ARC-5, yet have found no info on what the differences in those
two units are.
