My comment on the why does 200,000mfd work is that
the "charge" required (discussed earlier) assumes a
1 second duration max starting surge. I would think the
time (and "charge" required) is much less than that.
Also a current limiter resistance off the large electrolytic
capacitor would not be a bad idea ....say one which only
drops the run voltage by 0.5V or less (althought the ESR
may be high enough on aluminum electrolytics).
I erased the previous e-maIl, what were the RX/TX dyno
run currents ?
