That was quite common on the earlier models of the G series rotors, yaesu
used to supply replacements free but that has been quite a few years back.

I have one of the above named units.  However one side of the clamp piece
that holds the antenna mast in place is cracked.  I've been using it that
way for at least 6 years now but wonder if anyone knows how to get a
replacement?  I've heard that the Yaesu people are unresponsive, not first
hand knowledge.  Has anyone else had this same problem?  Is this synonymous
with these rotators?
