There is a utility data yagi on 458.5MHz in which the driven element is 1/2 non insulated from boom and the other 1/2 is insulated. The coax is hooked to the end of the boom just behind the reflector straight in. Does anyone have any details of this type of feed? I assume the non insulated half is connected to the center conductor.
