M2 antennas are relatively low cost compared to some others.  To single out
one antenna manufacturer for mistakes is incomplete.  Most make mistakes.
Force 12 had to send me a complete new boom at their cost because the new
guy used the wrong element to boom brackets.  I am positive others can tell
similar stories about the mistakes they have found.

Hi, I have a couple of M2 antennas. They are waaaay over priced for the
construction. Back when K6MYC was part of KLM antennas they were excellent.
I still have a bunch of those in the air, after 30 years.......
Check the 'reviews' on eHam..... Especially on the 6M7JHV. Spend almost $400
on an antenna and they forgot to drill holes in the boom??? Huh???
