[Antennas] OPen wire fed "dipole" for all 80 and up

  Jim,

  Make that dipole 105' long rather than 132'. It will tune up better on all bands than the full size version. Especially on higer bands that give a very high feedpoint impedence with a full 80 dipole (40M).  U can adjust length of feedline if U still have loading problems with the 105'. 3 hams in local NY area are using this shorter length with great sucess.

  Guys, 450 ohm window line feed - Is there a length to stay away from to be
  able to work 80 CW up to at least 10 meters?  Is 132 ft OK or is there a
  band that might be touchy there and will more easily tuned by a bit
