[Antennas] Replacing a ring gear in a TailTwister Question

Those gusty high winds the other day here in Chicagoland (Windy City???) 
tore the teeth off the ring gear.

Is there any trick/technique to removing the gear so that when replaced 
it's all realigned properly?
Please and thank you.
And bolted down, the yagi is 180 degrees wrong for Clipperton.....
