   Yes, a few years ago, when I first saw it.

   Unless the ball point pins are rated for exterior use (and protected from 
UV) I recommend:  http://www.73cnc.com/product_p/ls100.htm for economy from 
longevity.
   I will be using them when I move my station where I can put up lots of antennas.
