[Antennas] Broad banding an antenna...

All this dialog about broad banding antennas reminds me of
one of my early experiments back in 1954.

I successfully loaded the double bed springs with an 
ART-13 transmitter and had several 40 meter contacts.

That proved to be a really broadband antenna. 
SWR was high all the way across the band. 
The SX-28 receiver never knew the difference.

However, things got a lot better when I homebrewed a T2FD dipole.
