You are thinking of the MFJ-259B vs. the 269.
The question was about the 249B vs. the 259B. Maybe your best bet is
to download both user manuals and compare them. There is the obvious
lack of analog meters on the 249B, but I don't know what else, if
anything. I suspect there's a heck of a lot more 259B's out there,
than 249B's.
