[Antennas] information on t2x computer control board

I recently purchased a t2x rotor control box and it came with a add on  
board inside made by "advanced computer control"  the only marking i  
can find on it are R43024-A.  It ties to the rotor direction controls,  
and exits the back of the rotor with a ribbon cable which has had the  
connector chopped off, I presume it was probbly a DB-9

I  have spent much time searching the web but can find no information  
on this board can anyone tell me WHAT it is and WHY I would want to  
keep it?
