If you spent much time at all on his website when he was living you would know that his dear wife passed away some years before him. However, I do agree with your opinion on the pay site. Ugh.

L.B. Cebik, W4RNL was one of the most prolific authors in the world on the 
subject of antennas.  His boundless knowledge was unbelievable.  His FREE 
website had an untold number of endless fasinating writings about the theory 
behind antennas and practical applications with layouts, drawings, and 
measurements.  He shared his knowledge without reservation with his fellow hams 
and was happy to answer numerous emails personnally as a true model of what an 
Elmer should be.   Now that he is a silent key you have copyrighted his 
life's work and charge subscription fees to view it?  Please don't direct me me 
to your "in his words" section of your commercial website it makes me puke. 
 Please someone tell me this money is going to his widow.
