[Antennas] using Hustler 15m antenna on 6

No, 50MHz is a 3rd harmonic of 17m or 18MHz…..(18Mhzx3=54….21Mhzx3 =63)

 

A 40mtr dipole cut LOW will resonate on 15 (if cut for the 40m voice band, it will have low SWR at 21.4 or higher)….BUT a helical wound 40m resonator on a 54in mast WONT work on 15…if it did, why do they sell a 15m resonator???

6 meters is a harmonic of 15 meters and you are experiencing 3.0 db gain in the same way a 40 meter dipole will resonant on 15 meters and provides that same 3.0 db gain. Ron W7MRR
