Hi John,
Finally with the help of a bunch of super guys I got my quad up and working!
Guess what we crimped the wires together with butt splices.
It's a great big gamble and of course a scientific experimment all at the same time.

OK,I guess I am finally in the 21st century.I just crimped about 6 pl-259 crimp-on's.This was on some lmr-400.I have always soldered but on the lmr it was tough.I understand from all that crimping is fine.very few failures. What about the center cond.Is crimping ok or should it be soldered ? Thanks, john
