[Antennas] crimp connections

OK,I guess I am finally in the 21st century.I just crimped about 6 pl-259 
crimp-on's.This was on some lmr-400.I have always soldered but on the lmr it 
was tough.I understand from all that crimping is fine.very few failures.What 
about the center cond.Is crimping ok or should it be soldered ? Thanks,john
