HF Vertical Antennas, plus other antennas and related items

This HF Vertical antenna is located near Ocala, Florida, near
I-75.  It is disassembled, on the ground, ready for pickup,
and reassembly at your QTH.  Paper work is included, as are
all parts, to the best of my knowledge.  I was careful with
disassembly, so it should be easy to reassemble.  Due to its
size, it is just not practical to ship.
Other antennas and related items can be shipped, of course.

HyGain HyTower HF Vertical Antenna:

The HyGain HyTower HF vertical covers 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10
meters. The WARC bands (and 160 meters) can be added, but
are not a part of this antenna at present. This is an extremely
rugged antenna, consisting of about 30 feet of actual tower,
with additional stubs for tuning. Total height is about 50 feet.

Automatic band selection is achieved through a unique stub
decoupling system so that an electrical 1/4 wavelength (or
odd multiple) exists on all bands. Unity gain on 20, 40, 80;
2 dB on 10/15 Meters.

This particular antenna is in good condition. As far as I know,
all hardware is included. If putting it up myself, I would
probably paint the tower sections, but there is very, very
little surface rust.

Due to size, this is pick up only, near Ocala FL, close to I-75.

This antenna sells for about $1000 new. With paper work for $450.

Wattmeters and SWR Bridges:

MFJ 815 Cross Needle Wattmeter
The MFJ-815 cross-needle meter allows you to monitor both
forward and reflected power, and SWR simultaneously. There
are buttons to select power ranges of 20/200/2000 watts
forward and 5/50/500 watts reflected.
Frequency coverage is 1.8 to 60 MHz, so it covers 6 meters
in addition to the HF bands, making it ideal for some of
the new rigs that include 6 meters.
There is a meter light that requires a source of 12 V DC.
This particular unit works fine, and looks extremely good.
With paper work for $50.

HF Digital Peak and Average Reading Wattmeter
Radio Shack MTA-20 (21-527) Digital Wattmeter will read either
peak or average power. It is a digital meter with no moving
parts, although it does have a sort of analog bar graph on it.
It is rated to cover 1.8 thru 30 MHz, so it covers all of the
HF bands. It will measure up to 2000 Watts, in ranges of 2000,
200, or 20. It will also indicate SWR, which requires at least
1/2 Watt. It has a nice back light, and requires 13 V DC for
operation. There is about a 3 foot cable between the digital
display and the remote sensor. This is a great meter.
This particular meter is in its original box, and appears to
not have been used. It has been tested, and works fine. $100

SWR Bridges:

Quement SWB-2 Dual Meter
This unit features two separate meters -- one for reading forward
power and another for reading SWR. This permits one to easily
monitor both the power going out, and the SWR on the antenna.
It has SO-239 connectors on each end.
It will work on HF, and VHF, covering 3 to 150 MHz, so is
ideal for the new rigs that include 6 and 2 meters.
Works fine and looks great. With paper work for $40

ThordTest SWFS-2 SWR Bridge / Field Strength Meter
This is an HF SWR Bridge, but it can be used up thru 2 meters,
with slightly reduced accuracy. It is also a field strength
meter. SO-239 connectors.
This one works fine, and looks extremely nice. It is in original
box, with original instruction sheet, and antenna. $30

ParaDynamics PDC-5 Wattmeter
This unit has a wattmeter with scales of 100 W, 10 W, and
1 W. It has an SWR Bridge built in, with an antenna tuner.
It was obviously made for 11 meter use, but it works well
on other frequencies. The tuner portion works fine on 10 m,
12 m, and 15 m. The wattmeter seems accurate from 20 meters
thru 10 meters.
It is physically small (only 5 X 3 X 1), so would be ideal
for portable use.
The wattmeter and antenna tuner portion work fine, however,
the SWR portion of this unit is inoperative. It looks fine. $12

Larsen VHF and UHF (2 meter and 440 MHz) Mobile antennas:

Antennas are used, but in very good condition.

Larsen NLA-150, 2 meter antenna, for Larsen NLA mount
Has about 3 db gain on 2 meters; includes whip. $16
As above, but coil only, without whip. $10
Note: The whip is hard to ship (it is about 4 feet long),
and often one can be obtained locally.

Larsen NLA-450 coil and "stacked" whip for 440 MHz
Fits the Larsen NLA mount, and has about 5 db gain on
the 70 cm band. Stacked whip is included. $12

Larsen LM-150, 2 meter antenna for Larsen LM Mount
Has 3 db gain on 2 meters.
This coil is still in its original box, and appears to
never have been used. It even has its rubber washer with
it, along with instructions.
Coil only for $20.

Larsen Q Quarter Wave Antenna
Fits a 5/16 inch stud, such as the Larsen LM mount,
and others. It can be cut for 2 meters, 220 MHz, or
450 MHz bands. $9

Trunk Lip Mount with 5/16 inch stud
Ideal for use with the "Q" or LM-150above, or any other
antenna that requires a 5/16 inch stud. Very nice for $18.

Avanti "On Glass" antenna for 440 MHz:

This antenna was made by Avanti to mount on a windshield,
or other glass. It does not require a ground plane, as
it is a 1/2 wave antenna, rated to have 3 db gain. It is
ideal for places where a ground plane is not available,
such as a boat or motor home, in addition to cars. A
special tuning box is included to match to your particular
situation.

Still in its original tube, unopened. $33

Low Pass TVI Filters:

A low pass TVI filter is added to the transmitter to reduce
harmonic interference. All have SO-239 connectors.

B & W FL-10/1500 low pass filter
This 50 ohm filter cuts off just above 10 meters, and will
handle 1500 Watts. This is the latest model B & W filter.
It is in very nice condition; it looks very close to new.
With paper work $40.

B & W 425 low pass filter
It cuts off just above 10 meters, and will handle 1500+ Watts.
Maximum attenuation is at 52 MHz, with at least 70 db across
the band. This is an older model that seems much heavier duty.
It weighs almost twice as much as the newer model, and looks
like it would take more power. It even has a serial number on
it, and "Patent applied for". Paper work included. $35

Drake TV-3300-LP Low Pass Filter
This is a modern low pass filter to go between your transmitter
and antenna, and has been optimized to have more attenuation
in the 40 MHz region, where many TVs have their IF. It is good
for 1000 Watts "average" according to the manual, and has
over 80 db attenuation at 41 MHz. This one looks great, and
includes the paper work. $30
