[Antennas] Quad and beams

Gem quad is indeed alive and in business according to the following
web site.  My understanding is the ownership has migrated from
Manitoba to Saskatchewan.

I still have the 3 element version (3 bands) but unfortunately it has
remained disassembled and stored for the past 18 years.  When it was
up in the air I always found that I did not require an amplifier to
break even the largest pileup.  I am completely sold on quads and will
take one over a yagi any day.

I know nothing about the current versions being produced as all my
experience is based on the original as well as a couple of home brew
versions built prior to the purchase of my Gem Quad.
