Randy--
You mentioned efficiency but did not tell us how you measured or calculated
it, or what the value was. You mentioned antenna resistance, when I think
you mean impedance, but did not say how you had the MFJ-259 connected to the
antenna. What was the length of the RG-11 and where was it connected?
When these things are clarified, I'm sure some answers and advice will be
forthcoming.
