[Antennas] portable mast

 Hi all,

I belong to a QRP group that heads out most weekends to get
in some portable operating. We always have a myriad of
antennas on hand, some wire, some telescoping aluminum
verticals, some Jacklite-based antennas of one kind or
another, plus some that barely make it off the ground :-&

Does anyone have ideas for reasonably light (extendable or
assemble-able) masts? A number of us have the 4 ft / section
green fiberglass mast sections - and they're great, but
heavy for carrying any real distance. Especially since some
of us operate on 40 and need to get our antennas up 30 or so
feet -- ideally. Carbon fiber is a little too expensive from
the usual retail outlets, but would probably be the best
bet. 

I know there are a few commercial options, but we all like
DIY. Any ideas welcome, and the group will be most
appreciative.
