[Antennas] Interference and Manual for VF-142 Vector finder?

Hi,

I am having trouble with RF interference that is strong on the higher bands and
is intermittent. Durations from short times to long periods hours to 
days.  Mainly
bad on 17 thru 6mtrs.  Seems to be horizontally polarized (Loud on dipoles 
& yagi. Weak on vert ants.)
and ranges from S2 to S9.

Seems to be a repetitive pulsing of some kind and is not random in 
frequency.  Not sure
how to tell the frequency of the pulse. On the ICOM pro3 spectrum screen is 
the same
pulse freq on all bands.

Have borrowed the subject Radio Engineers finder as a possible test unit to 
try but
have no info on using it.  Have experimented with it and use a modified RS 
aircraft radio
to connect to it.  Seems to be working as can do some directing but about 
same as small yagi.

Not sure if this the right reflector to go to but you all have been most 
informative in the
past.  Did try the archives but did not find anything.
