Probably the best advice quoted to him so far :)
While the numbers don't lie, if you can't put down the "Perfect" system, put
as much as you can and GET ON THE AIR!
My best 80mtr antenna was when I was a General (just upgraded from Novice in
74 at age 14) and put up an Inverted L on 80....for ground, I had a 3ft by
3ft copper sheet I buried vertically in the ground and some ground
rods....DAMN that thing talked and had LOW SWR the T60 xmtr liked (the Pi
Network in the T60 could match a TREE!!!)...
Dave, put what you can down, don't over analyze it, and hopefully we will
chat on the air soon!

David,
You have YOUR situation.
Do what YOU can do! All the charts, books, and theory are wonderful
constructs.
Then you do YOUR best with the reality that is dealt you.
It "may" not be a "perfect" solution, but it IS what you have to work with.
So give it a go! See how it works for you!
I've had to run with "imperfect" antenna systems over a span of 29
years. Guess what? They've managed to get me on the air and working
stations in OUR hobby!
