Follow up...the center pin will probably NOT crimp good!!(you will likely
crush a PL259 center pin trying to crimp to RG6!!) This is ONE case you
should solder...but the shield should crimp well with the RG8X crimper.

The Paladin uses replaceable dies so you can crimp just about ANYTHING with
it....The dies are $15-20 each iirc...
I got mine through Ralph's Electronics (since they are local and I have an
open company acct there)...but plenty of other dealers nationwide...YMMV

PL259s for RG8X should fit RG6...about the same size on the outer
conductor...
